 David Padgett, a father of five children and seventeen grandchildren was born on September 22nd of 1949. He grew up in Fort Walton Beach Florida where he met and married his lovely and godly wife, Barbara. He was married in the First Baptist Church of Ft. Walton on June 28 1969, the same church in which he would become a born again believer a few weeks later. After attending college in a nearby community, he enlisted in the Army Security Agency and served in Vietnam and Germany. With a growing hunger for God's word and a desire to fulfill his will, he attended Tennessee Temple Bible School and College in Chattanooga from 1973 to1977. During this time he went on his first missionary journey to Guatemala, where he became smitten with the desire to travel to third world countries and minister the word of God. Many years and many journeys later, he was forced to focus on his health at home coming close to death more than once. In January of 2001, he had a life transforming encounter with his Lord where God took him into the classroom of his throne room and for six months taught him how to live the victorious crucified life of walking consistently in the Holy Spirit. He told his Father and his Son Jesus Christ that if they would continue to flood him with these living waters, that he would commit his life to letting them splash on all those around him.
